Snowshoeing has become popular over the last few years and many of our guests enjoy it as much or more than the cross country skiing. Snowshoeing offers seeing the exceptional views without the longer learning period associated with skiing. The trails are great for beginner and advanced snowshoeing enthusiasts.

Fairview Canyon provides world-class downhill skiing and snow boarding with no long lines or expensive lift tickets. Take advantage of true cowboy skiing as you are shuttled to the top of hills and then ride the virgin snow, meeting the vehicle at the bottom. There are no developed ski or snow board facilities here - it's pure back country adventure for free.

The Wasatch Plateau provides one of the premier snowmobile complexes in the U.S. Some 80 miles of area trails are groomed for snowmobiles by Utah State Parks, and there are countless more miles of bowls and un groomed trails in adjacent play areas.

Snow kiting has endless possibilities. All you need is the wind, a snow kite, skies or snow board, and an attitude for fun! Skyline Drive is a great spot for snow kiting because it offers plenty of deep snow, steep slopes and open bowls. It is the ultimate in back country skiing. There is no need for a ski lift or resort. Your snow kite will pull you uphill and downhill at varying speeds.
