Facilities at Wind Walker
The great part about this vacation is the uniqueness
of it. You are not a tourist visiting "hot spots". You are part
of a new climate. You are able to gain and learn so much because you are
not jumping from place to place (unless you are on a horse). I would like
to give a big thank you to Wind Walker staff and congratulate them on
a marvelous job."

in putting it together.
Cowboy/Dining Hall: This room
is the largest of our meeting rooms, having access to a pool table or table
tennis. It also serves as our main dining room, serving delicious home-cooked
meals for all appetites and catering to special food preferences. This room
creates the perfect ambience with a fantastic working fireplace as well, surrounded
by comfy seating. This room has the capacity to hold 65-90 people at a time.
Wagon Wheel Room: This rustic
room on ground level is a warm and inviting space, having wood floors and
walls and a wood-burning stove for that authentic feel. It's a perfect place
for informal gatherings for up to 40 guests.
Western Pavilions: There are
two pavilions that are a great space to meet outdoors. They provide enough
shade to stay cool and still enjoy the spectacular scenery and mountain air.
Retta Place: This room is upstairs
in the main house. It is equipped with a beautiful fire place and 4 sliding
glass doors that go onto small balconies for incredible views of the ranch
and surrounding area. This room sits up to 35 people.
Many of our groups take advantage
of the fresh mountain air
and choose to meet or break outside
Grand Lawn: Adjacent to the Cowboy/Dining
Hall, the sprawling Grand Lawn is perfect for large outdoor events or intimate
gatherings under a shady tree. We've hosted more BBQs than you can shake a
stick at, weddings, educational events, corporate gatherings, and workshops
of all kinds.
Tipis: We also feature several
authentic tipis of various sizes for meetings, teaching purposes, and also
outdoor camping. See for yourself how our native american ancestors lived
in yesteryear. Excellent educational opportunities for kids of all ages.
Horse Stables: Wind Walker prides
itself on its well cared-for prize horses, excellent riding trails, scenic
vistas, and compassionate guides. No matter what your riding skills are, you
will have a fantastic experience! Fun for families, kids and adults; great
for corporate team-building experiences.
