Are you open year round?
Yes we are. The ranch is accessible year round
and with each season comes new adventures and activities.
What about my children, can they come?
Kids are always welcomed and encouraged!
During the summer we have special
programs for children from 4 to 12. Child care can be arranged for babies
and toddlers for an hourly rate. During the months of May through September
our regular kids connection program is available. During off season special
activities can be arranged for your children's entertainment. We also have
certain weeks that schools are closed that are designed for kids.
How old does my child have to be to ride?
Due to safety always being our main concern, our
wranglers will evaluate each child on a individual basis. They watch the
child's abilities, maturity, and experiences with riding horses, then customize
a riding activity to fit.
Do I have to sign a riding release?
Yes, if you plan on participating in any of our riding activities we must
have a signed release. We strive to make your riding as safe as possible
but there are inherent risks in riding horses and other recreational activities
that are beyond our control and are the responsibility of the individual.
What airport is near the ranch?
Utah has the Salt
Lake International Airport in Salt Lake City that is 90 minutes away
from Wind Walker. There is also the Mt.
Pleasant Municipal Airport available to private planes approx. 6 miles
from the Ranch. For a more scenic drive, some have chosen to fly into the
Las Vegas Airport
and drive up through the different national parks that Utah offers. The
Las Vegas route is 5 hours of driving not including the stops in the parks.
Would it be better to rent a car or use your transportation?
With all the attractions and national parks in
the area you may want to have your own transportation available. If you
are just planning on coming to the ranch we do have airport shuttle available
that is charged per person with the minimum of 2 people. In some cases depending
on your family size it may be more economical to rent.
What area of Utah are you located in?
We are located in Central Utah in the county of
Sanpete. We are at the foothills of the Manti-La Sal mountains. Click here

"A weekend of clarity, authenticity, renewal,
and connection walking the wild lands. Passing to hear myself in time
and space. Yes the love that I rediscovered, and rejuvenated peace. Now
to take it into my world.
Thank you!"
